Poco’s Fire Ants
Every journey needs a guide; be sure an adult is by your side!
Every JAMBO’S JOURNEY activity MUST have an ADULT’s supervision.
Ingredients:
- apples
- veggie Straws
- marshmallow crème
- raisins
- toothpicks
- candy eyes (or chocolate chips if you can’t obtain candy eyes)
Directions:
Step 1:
Have an adult help you cut the apples in half lengthwise and gently remove the core.
Step 2:
Put the apples on a plate with the inside of the apple face down.
Step 3:
Slip 8 veggie draws under the apple for the ant’s legs.
Step 4:
Push raisins onto two toothpicks and then place the toothpicks at the “head” the ant as the antennae. Step 5: Put small dots of marshmallow crème by the head for the eyes and then place candy eyes (or chocolate chips) and enjoy your fire ant!
