Jambo’s Puppets
Every journey needs a guide; be sure an adult is by your side!
Every JAMBO’S JOURNEY activity MUST have an ADULT’s supervision.
What You Will Need:
- fabric or felt in the color of your choosing
- sewing needle and thread
- buttons
- glitter, ribbons, beads, or anything else you want to decorate your new friend wit
Directions:
Step 1:
Ask a parent to help you cut two pieces of rectangle shaped fabric (about 5” wide and 9-10” tall). Lay them together with the exterior sides of the fabric touching each other
Step 2:
Have your parent simply sew (by hand or machine) the left, top, and right sides together. There will be a hole left for your hand at the bottom end.
Step 3:
Get creative! Add buttons for eyes and nose, felt for mouth, and yawn for hair! Let your creative juices flow as you add pieces like hat, scarves, spots, teeth, stripes, or whatever else you’d like!
